“I lost a family member when I was 12 years old and it caused me to leave church. I thought that God left me. Later on, I was brought back to church by a friend. I found a relationship with Jesus after I came back to church. Jesus helped transform my life by getting rid of anger issues I had growing up. He has taught me how to love humanity. I would not be able to do that without Him. Surrender means to submit your entire life to Christ. In Mark 4:39 Jesus said ‘Peace, be still’ to the storm. He can do that in our lives if we just say Yes to Him. He will transform you on a level that you cannot fathom. Read the Bible. Research it in its original context and see how compatible it is with the history of mankind. I love apologetics and defending my Lord with science and history. People think there is a conflict between science and scripture but there is not. Scripture actually predicts scientific advancements. If you look at science alone and think about the cosmos you realize that could not happen on its own. That is what scientists are saying, but I don’t think it is good to tell an entire generation that they are a cosmic accident. We are all made in the image of God and we deserve to be treated like that. Romans 8:39 “neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Jesus loves you. Jesus died one of the most inhumane deaths for you so you can have a relationship with God. Pray about it. He will answer you. Matthew 7:7-8 says “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” My name is Riley and I surrender.”
